About SCMGMA
The SCMGMA maintains several volunteer committees that help govern the association as well as provide valuable information and to members.
Bylaws Committee
Develops amendments to the SCMGMA bylaws; reviews chapter bylaws and insure they are in compliance with state bylaws and presents proposed amendments to general membership for vote.

Conference Committee
Responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing the annual conference

Continuing Education Committee
Promote the educational goals of SCMGMA; assist chapters in development of educational activities.
Executive Committee
Transact necessary business between meetings of the Board of Governors and report any action to the Board.

Insurance and Legislative Committee
Identies substantive topics and issues relative to healthcare administration and facilitates communication and information exchange between SCMGMA members, state and national legislative bodies, third party (private and governmental) payers, and other regulatory agencies.
Membership/Chapter Development Committee
Responsible for developing an active member recruitment plan. Actively recruit new members and encourage the development of new chapters throughout the State of South Carolina.

Be responsible for soliciting, screening, verifying eligibility and presenting a slate of nominees for office
